With his interdisciplinary training in both in-vitro and in-vivo aspects of biology, he looks forward to solve challenging biological problems with a holistic approach. The overarching goal of his research is to identify the specific plant group Strobilantes in Kerala based on its anatomy rather than morphology as morphological characters are not efficient in identifying and characterizing each species. This will help in the conservation and protection of this peculiar plant group. Another area of research is invitro propagation of orchids based on natural additives.
